Big Bend National Park: 5 Day Camping Adventure from Austin

Big Bend National Park: 5 Day Camping Adventure from Austin
There's something surreal about crossing the Rio Grande in a tiny rowboat, leaving the rugged trails of Big Bend behind and stepping into Boquillas del Carmen, a charming Mexican village nestled in the desert. As the boat gently glides over the river, you're greeted by the lively hum of the town—a fusion of rustic simplicity and vibrant local culture. Sipping fresh-squeezed limeade at a colorful cantina, I felt the border melt away, replaced by an overwhelming sense of connection and adventure.
