Voyagers is a digital outdoor social platform designed to help students and recent graduates who recently moved within or to the U.S. achieve their outdoor adventure goals. Our platform filters and tailors connections and resources to make outdoor activities more accessible and enjoyable. We offer a free weekly newsletter (Voyagers Weekly), its premium upgrade (Voyagers+), monthly virtual outdoor workshops (Voyagers Classroom), and an annual in-person outdoor trip (Voyagers Expedition).

Voyagers Weekly is our comprehensive newsletter designed to prepare you for your next outdoor adventure in the U.S. Each week, we hand-pick popular trails and seasonal hidden gems to inspire your plans, along with outdoor brand sales offering significant discounts. As part of our community, you can participate in member-organized trips and used gear exchanges, and receive personalized recommendations with an upgrade.

If you use an .edu email address to subscribe on our website, you automatically become a verified member and receive a 30-day trial of Voyagers+. Otherwise, you'll receive an email with instructions to verify your identity by replying to that email: 1) from your .edu email address, or 2) including a link to your social media profile older than 6 months, or 3) including a verified member's email address that matches our record. Once verified, you'll receive a confirmation email welcoming you as a verified member. If you choose not to verify, you can still receive the newsletter but won't be able to access member-only content or activate your Voyagers+ free trial.

Once you become a verified member, your 30-day free trial of Voyagers+ will automatically start. You'll receive a welcome email with links to fill out your personal profile, trip profile (if you want to organize a trip), and gear profile (if you want to sell used gear). You will then be added to our matching database. During your Voyagers+ trial period, your personal newsletter will feature one matching buddy, one matching trip, and three matching gear items. You can reach out directly if you're interested. Additionally, you'll receive our hand-picked collection of brand sales with significant discounts, free RSVPs to monthly workshops, and the opportunity to have your trips, gear, and profile featured in the free newsletter to increase exposure.

When your 30-day free trial of Voyagers+ ends, you'll no longer receive the premium newsletter but you're still signed up for the free version. The free newsletter won't have personalized recommendations for buddies, trips, or gear. Instead, it will feature members, trips, and gear from our premium members, whom you can still contact. Your information will remain in our matching database. If you get matched with a premium member, only the premium member can see the match and decide whether to reach out. Additionally, the free newsletter will include only one brand sale instead of a collection, and you'll need to pay $5 to RSVP to workshops.

You may manage your subscription and billing details using the Stripe-hosted customer portal.

Your personal information enters our secure matching database and will only be shared with our verified members who are matched with you. Our advanced algorithm weekly identifies members who match your outdoor interests and experiences, trips that fit your preferences and readiness, and gear that suits your needs and budget. Free members' profiles can be matched with premium members, but only premium members receive these personalized matches in their newsletters.

Your trip information enters our secure matching database and is shared only with verified members who match your trip. Interested participants may contact you via your preferred method. A week later, we'll check if you're still looking for more participants, and you can update your trip profile and matching preferences as needed.

Your gear information enters our secure matching database and is shared only with verified members who match your gear. Interested buyers may contact you via your preferred method. A week later, we'll check if you're still looking for a buyer, and you can update your gear profile and matching preferences as needed.

You can contact the member, trip organizer, or gear seller directly via their preferred methods. In the premium newsletter, you can also provide feedback if not interested to improve future matches.

At the end of each week's newsletter, verified members will see buttons linking to their personal, trip, and gear profiles. Sign in with the same email address used for the original submission to edit your profiles. Trip organizers and gear sellers can also edit their profiles through the reminder email sent after an introduction.

At the end of your personal, trip, and gear profile forms, you can change your matching preferences whenever you'd like. If you wish to pause your personal profile matching, stop looking for trip participants, or stop selling any listed gear, simply select the corresponding options.

In the premium newsletter, you can leave your feedback on that week's buddy, trip, or gear matching in the survey field. After you're connected with a buddy, trip organizer, or gear seller, you can email your feedback on the connection experience to info@voyagetogether.com.

Premium members and mentors can choose to have their profiles featured in the free newsletter by selecting the option in their personal profile forms. Premium members can also choose to feature their trips and gear. Each week, we feature one member, three trips and six gear items based on submission order.

As a mentor, you have the exciting opportunity to share your outdoor skills and expertise with others, making the outdoors more accessible and enjoyable for them. While there are no strict responsibilities, indicating that you are a mentor in your personal profile allows you to connect with members who have lower skill levels in your area of expertise. It's a chance to give back, inspire others, and be celebrated within our community for your contributions.

Voyagers Classroom is a monthly, hour-long online workshop where outdoor professionals, field scientists, and brand insiders share their expertise and stories. Participants can ask questions and interact with the speakers, making it a fantastic way to expand your outdoor knowledge and network. It costs $5 to RSVP for guests and free members, and $0 for premium members. Available starting Fall 2024.

Voyagers Expedition is our annual week-long outdoor adventure, designed to celebrate Voyagers' anniversary and bring our community together in person. Led by our team members and qualified mentors, this exciting journey takes us to breathtaking destinations within or outside the U.S., offering a chance to explore, connect, and create unforgettable memories together. Available starting Summer 2025.
